Ceanna

Hello! My name is Ceanna and I am a dual-state credentialed elementary school teacher with a master`s in Elementary Education from UC Berkeley. I have taught 2nd and 3rd grade for the past 6 years, including online teaching and private tutoring.

I am moving around California this year and thus am not in the classroom full-time. However, I am now located in Lakewood, CA.

I believe that building a strong relationship with every one of my students, as well as their families, is the foundation for successful and meaningful learning. Tutoring is my favorite way to continue to teach kiddos, and I would love to create customized, standards-based instruction for your student to help them overcome a learning challenge, ignite a love of a subject, or just learn something new! I am happy to provide references upon request.

Experience: I have over ten years of experience in K-8 education, including online teaching and tutoring. My classrooms were all full-inclusion and multiple-subject. I am trained in Orton-Gillingham comprehensive reading instruction, and I am well-versed in differentiation to meet the needs of diverse learning styles. I am located in Lakewood now for the foreseeable future.
